Kenneth Fuller — Gospel Broadcaster, Musician, and Inspirational Media Visionary

Kenneth Fuller (also known as Dr. Kenneth Fuller and Dr. Christos Kioni) is an American gospel broadcaster, minister, musician, author, and religious researcher best known as the originator of the first African American Herbal Folklore podcast, the LuckyMojo Hoodoo Rootwork Hour, SmoothJazz.Web.com (sold to a terrestrial station,) and Spirit & Soul Radio, an internet‑based radio station featuring R&B, Hip-Hop, Urban, Smooth Jazz, Afro Beats, and Gospel, broadcasting globally.

Early life and musical career

Fuller began his musical career as a gospel vocalist with Milton Boren's Jubileers, a Southern acappella gospel ensemble performing traditional jubilee and quartet‑style sacred music throughout the Southeast USA at spiritual venues, including the prestigious Rollins College Fine Arts Auditorium. He was a featured soloist and participated in the recording of two albums with the group.

Over his performance career, Fuller appeared on radio and television in ministries and concert programs connected with notable Grammy-winning gospel artists and ensembles, including Andraé Crouch, Fred Hammond, Rev. Timothy Wright, Larnelle Harris, Vernard Johnson, Rev. Oliver Wells, the Gorman Memorial Mass Choir, and The Ray Manning Singers.

Ministerial career

At age fifteen, he was licensed as a minister in the Missionary Baptist Church. Later, the late Evangelist H. Richard Hall, from TN, ordained him in 1976. He was also ordained a minister in the Church of the Nazarene and subsequently in the Assemblies of God. Fuller pioneered the Mifflin Church of the Nazarene in Columbus, Ohio, and later served as Senior Pastor of congregations for both denominations in Kentucky, Colorado, and Mississippi.

Honorary doctorate

Fuller received an honorary Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Metaphysics from the Universal Life Church Monastery, a religious organization offering ordination and ministerial credentials. The Universal Life Church Monastery customarily issues honorary religious titles recognizing service in ministry. ( ulc.org)

Broadcasting career

Fuller’s broadcasting career began at WOKB in Orlando, Florida, where he worked alongside gospel DJ Melvin Grace. He later worked at WVCF, then joined the CBS‑affiliated WDBO as on‑air talent and producer. Fuller also worked at the now‑defunct WKKO in Cocoa, FL, as well as other stations in Ohio and Mississippi. In 1998, he started SmoothJazzWeb online radio on Live365. That domain was later sold to a terrestrial smooth jazz station. He subsequently founded Spirit & Soul Radio, an internet radio station streaming R&B, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Urban, Inspirational, and faith‑centered music worldwide via services including Live365. * Some Urban music is explicit.

Spiritual anthropology and global study

Fuller has undertaken international travel to study indigenous religions, African diasporic spiritual traditions, folk religious practices, and comparative metaphysics. His spiritual exploration and ministry experiences are referenced in the book Not in Kansas Anymore: Dark Arts, Sex Spells, Money Magic, and Other Things Your Neighbors Aren’t Telling You by journalist **Christine Wicker*, which examines contemporary spiritual movements and folkloric belief systems.
